Memorial for Fallen Pittsburgh Officers

For the past two days, Pittsburgh has been in mourning of the three police officers who were shot and killed. At the City County Building in Downtown, fellow officers, family members, and the public lined up to honor the fallen officers. Today is the last day for memorial services. Here are some photos I captured.

Washington, DC

I just got back from my second journalism trip to DC. The weather was nowhere near as nice as last year, but I still managed to get some photos, mainly of the blooming flowers.

Nicholas Andre Dance Company

While in New York, I went to my cousin's dance rehearsal for the company she dances in, Nicholas Andre Dance Company. I took some photos and did some weird things to some of them. Here are just a few out of the 100 I took.

Filtered Portraits

Today, I took some more photos of my friend Erin, this time in her natural environment- the dance studio. I decided to try out using filters on some of these- they turned out pretty rad. I also used layers to create photo illustrations, which makes it look like Erin is more than one person.
